I believe that DMPs from different countries used to send medical results to Ottawa instead of regional office so CIC has changed the letter and explicitly tells that results will go to a regional office...

Shuga you are correct. I received additional medical request for my father and DMP refused to send any report to Ottawa, though earlier medical was sent to Ottawa by the same DMP. I guess DMP has received notification from CIC not to send any results to Ottawa. My father's re-medical result was sent to New Delhi.

I had sent it separately (it wasn't included in the additional docs).

The confusion was, based on the Nov 25th letter, a lot of applicants included the PCC along with the additional docs. CIC-M is not equipped to evaluate the PCC of different countries - as this is normally the task of LVOs. When CIC realised this, for the next batch of additional docs request, they clearly specified that PCC should not be sent to CIC-M. So, if one has the pcc and knows where the application is being processed (after the sponsorship is approved), there is really no harm in sending the PCC there - especially if one has received aor from the processing VO.

I was told otherwise, don't send it they don't ask. Now, should I send it as I know mine is New Delhi

what document can we attach to prove that dependent child is financially sported by parents.like when i sponsor my parents with a dependent in 2008 from Pakistan, dependent was 19 now she is 23.she finished her masters 5 months ago and right now she is not in school but looking to do further studies.what proof can i give about financial support as in Pakistan fees is paid cash. any Pakistani who already done it please help.and what type of documents we need to support her education except degrees, character certificate,marks sheet. any thing else. one more thing what documents we need to prove her relationship to parents. birth certificate, Form B, degree, anything else. please help me. I don't think people understood the content of that letter dated Nov. 25. CIC suggested you should start to find out how to get police certificate, because for some counties it would take a longer time to get it. It will save time if you know the whole process, where and who to contact, doc your need, etc. However, this doc is not required to be submitted at that time.

The best way is to wait until CIC request it.

Its called AOR, many have received that, basically its conf that your file is received by them. Now wait for meds, pcc and/or passport request

Shuga or anybody else please gives some helps. My mom case, she got the ME done on March 6, 2012 in Canada, but within one week, the doctor called back to have another X-ray, after she finished, the doctor said was ok and the reason for rechecking was the former film was not clear in some where. And then, the doctor kept the result till April 23 and send out with all the other applicants’ report together, then he close the IME business in his clinic. For my side, it’s still only show PR Application Received that showed on Feb 2nd, 2012. that means the ME is not passed yet. I asked the GCMS note and I got it today. It shows the medical as:

Question on PCC

My mother lived in US for 1 year and they both have visited US over 10-11 times in past 30 years, we got both their FBI done. Now even though my father has not lived more than 6 months, should I send it anyways? or its a totally bad idea?

This is not entirely correct. Our March 30th request for additional documents clearly gave two options: either for PCC to be included (affidavits are to be attached for those issued in other languages) with all documents submitted as one package or for them to be sent later when asked again. In fact, CPC-M clearly stated not to send PCC separately from the package. Moreover, they no longer accept PCCs from local police offices and provide the list of organizations in each country they trust to issue PCCs.

not sure what it means...

you can try to go to the doctor and ask if he can call/e-mail CIC medical office and ask for more info... not sure if he can do it... and if he agrees of doing it...

you can try to call CIC, or send an e-mail/fax to CPP-O asking for additional info...

you can order a copy of the medical file (GCMS note) and see all the details... but i believe that ordering physical file can cause a delay... so not sure if that's the right thing to do...

Hi Wec660: The letter states: "Once obtained, the police certificates can either be sent with the complete application or when the visa office requests them. Do not send police certificates separatly from the application or they will be returned." I am citing it word for word here with the bold font included as per the letter.
