A question about PCC expiry again (and local VO).

We got our police ceritificates (as was recomended by the Nov 25 letter) and they are dated early March.
However, our case was transferred to a local VO and who knows when we hear from them next.

I am trying to understand whether I should just mail PCCs to the local VO and not wait for them to expire.
If they are dated March 6 - does this mean they are going to be considered expired if received by the local VO after June 6?

I am confused by all those discussions about expiry and PCC being no older than 3 month from teh application date!

It was clear before - when people submitted stage 2 local VO package and PCC was part of it (so as of that submission date it was supposed to less than 3 month prior). But what is the application date now? The ecas shows a date in 2007 for my parents file which is meaningless (because it was my sponsorship application submission, not their PR application yet).

Anyone in the same situation?
It is such a pain to get it again for my parents and it takes a month at least. I understand that they may ask for it again if the stage 2 takes too long but maybe at least I could submit this one so that they do not bother us with it for now.

Nothing from VO, but I believe that PCC was mainly for those who had their files transferred to Ottawa, it might be good idea to send PCC ( while its valid ) or they might ask again and there is precedence for that

do you know that for sure? no one has been asked for passport yet

i did not say about getting visa faster - i said about getting medicals results faster... those who sent medicals to Ottawa either have their status changed to Medicals received (passed) within less than a month after sending medicals or got additional test requests... may be i was just unlucky - but my medicals did not go to Ottawa - 2 months have passed after the results were received - i still did not get the request for additional medicals...

So they did not ask your parents?

No, Doctor asked if she had T.B. thats all.

I received the AOR letter through mail today. I am not still able to log into the ECase. I started having issues with my online access since two weeks ago. I understand the reason now. The letter is dated April 26.

Online e-cas is showing medicals have been received. How long more should I wait before I start getting reall worried! Any guidance would be truly apprciated.

I think you should worry now. Contact CIC. They should not hold you passport for four months.

No, Doctor asked if she had T.B. thats all.

there are explicit questions about surgeries, cancer, heart diseases, tuberculosis, etc in the form that doctor is filling in and the parents are signing...

the letter has information about your sponsorship application approval and where the case was forwarded from Mississauga - to a local visa office or CPP-O... then you will get medical request from either LVO or CPP-O...
