... in the checklist that cic sent in one section it says for the sponsor and other for the principal applicant as for the sponsor it asked one thing so can u guys please tell what does it mean ?
FOR THE SPONSOR
1 . OPTION C PRINT OUT
Submit an original Option C print out for the tax year that you submitted the original sponsorship application...

When you call Revenue canada, you can just request option C for all those years (it is free and will save you time in case CIC wants more). Then can either mail all (I did just in case) or just 2007 and 2008 as Shuga suggested.

Also, I am just curious: did I understand correctly that the '90 day' letter you received recently (March?) explicitly asked for Option C? Is it how it is for the second batch? As far as I recall for November 25 letter there was no mention of Option C at all, was there? I only sent mine proactively because i had job changes and maternity leave in between and just wanted to show that it had no negative impact (just in case) but I do not recall it being requested in that additional document request...

Hi mash_afg it says Option C Printout
Submit an original Option C Printout for the year that you submitted the original sponsorship application.
This document is available to you upon request by calling Canada Rervenue Agency at 1800-959-8281. There is no charge to obtain a copy of the Option C Printout.
IM 2008 applicant but sending 2007 and 2008 option c :)

How come you got both? :) 2 applications maybe for different sets of parents? Is the blue letter posted anywhere on the forums (again, pure curiosity)?

Actually that reminds me - my husband still has not received anything, he applied at the end of 2008 for his parents... Same issue with a friend of ours - he even called CIC and they told him to wait...

I think you better check with call center agents, If they need option-C they would ask that specifically but not the whole application package.

it looks like the new letter that cic sent to 2009 applicants is slightly different from the November one that we got - it asks everybody to provide option C printout...

yes, it is. One of my friend got it (I saw it). First thing in the checklist is Option-C.

Does anyone have the new form & if you don't mind scan it & post the link here.

Thanks :)
