Logically, I don't see why they would need photos of dependents ( regardless of being sponsored or not ) but with CIC, anything is possible and a slight mistake = big delay so better to make sure from others or call them

User, congrats on file transfer......................
SO all 2008 files are getting tranferred.
2009 including my file , maybe in later part of this year.

Here is the list:
1. Copies of mother's passport ( main pages)
2. copy of your Birth certificate ( if not in english, send translated original alongwith copy of original non-english cert.)
3. copy of mother's Birth certificate ( if not in english, send translated original alongwith copy of original non-english cert.)
4. copy of mother's marriage certificate ( if not in english, send translated original alongwith copy of original non-english cert.)
5. copy of your father's Death certificate ( if not in english, send translated original alongwith copy of original non-english cert.)

Very Imp: If you dont hv your mother's birth/marriage certificate, make sure u send 2 different affidavits for ur mother instead.

6. 2 photos of ur mother- 35x35 mm ( i suggest u wait on photos till u get CIC letter), as photos hv to be 6 months old.
7. Dont even worry about ur mother's Police clearance, even though its recommended in the letter (utterly confusing)- PCC's are best when sent wid da medical

Remember 2009 applicants are not having their files transferred unlike 2008 applicants who hv been issued medical requests.

Thanks asidhu5
My mother already had some of the above mentioned documents being translated and certified back home but that was years ago, will CIC accept those copies or they need new documents as those are old (5 to 7 years ago)??

Is someone applying for an authorization to re-enter Canada (ARC)?
I was a child (13 years old) when my parents applied for refugee status and PRRA(8 years ago). Those applications were denied.
I am applying for permanent residence (family class- spousal sponsorship)) and the VO asked me to make a request to reenter Canada and pay the cost of the deportation.
Could someone show me or guide me how to make the request, please?.
Has somebody a copy of the request letter for ARC that Immigration send the applicant?

Thank you for your help.

My wife is sponsoring me. I applied for Permanent Residence, 10 months ago.
On February 2012 the VO requested my passport and re-do medical exam. I did.
On April 2012 they asked me to make a request for ARC and to pay the deportation costs.

Hi, this thread is particularly about parents sponsorship (mostly about timelines, how to fill forms ) and your case requires professional advice. I doubt anyone would have a good answer on this and I wouldn't recommend it either

Good Luck

hello
i really appreciate if you guys reply to this as in the checklist that cic sent
in one section it says for the sponsor and other for the principal applicant
as for the sponsor it asked one thing so can u guys please tell what does it mean ?

FOR THE SPONSOR
1 . OPTION C PRINT OUT
Submit an original Option C print out for the tax year that you submitted the original sponsorship application

this document is different from your notice of assessment and is available to you upon request by calling Canada Revenue Agency

can anyone of you got such thing ? as in Option C print out where i highlighted the line if u guys read it says C print out for the tax year that you submitted the original sponsorship application
as what does it mean? as i started sponsorship in 2009 so does it mean i have to submit only c print out for the year 2008 or 2009 or all of years or just tax year 2011
thanks alot

You need to call Canada Revenue and ask to send you Option C Printout for the tax year 2009 which you submit your application. It will takes 3 - 5 days to send you that.
