If I were you, I would apply online and when approved they would ask for passport, they can go back to home country, sent passport and then come back. Passport return wouldn't take that long.

yes, especially when many of old applicants did not qualify for that new list of selected occupations.

If I were you, I would apply online and when approved they would ask for passport, they can go back to home country, sent passport and then come back. Passport return wouldn't take that long.

I don't think they will accept the application if the parent has an extension of stay that is still valid.

Mom and my brother went for medical in islamabad.they took xray for my mom dr said there was an infection in xray.and he asked for 3 additional different test after that they will know why is xray not clear.My question is he give her appointment july 18 for xray again thats gona be 3 month .but the letter says medical should be done 45 days. can any body tell me dr is doing right thing ?or he suppose to send medical right away then they ask for additional test?why he is giving appointment so long?

Hunny007: Dont get worried about this.. THis is the sputuum and smear culture test..It is done to rule out TB.. Your mother would be required to go for the test for 3 continuous days.. The result of this test takes 8 weeks.. So yes an additional waiting time.. My mother had to go through the same sputuum test(They said there was some infection) and Alhumdullilah it was clear, my ecas now show's medical received(Which mean's medical's have been cleared) .. She did her sputuum test on the 30th january, 31st january and 1st february'2013, after that the results were dispatched to the medical section on 1st april '2013(Exactly after 8 weeks).. Some people are required to go for X-Rays after that, if they feel xray is required , otherwise in other cases they donot ask for xrays.. SO donot stress too much about it..

how did you get it email or mail in India?
about dependants your 14 yr old is type A and 24 yr old is type A aswsell (we had discussion about it last year few said to put recent type for example your 24 yr old is type B but as we know their age was locked when you applied and ythey both were Type A) I have one dependant too he was type A abut now he falls under type B but i m still gonna put Type A for him but will also send his school/college documents just incase. You can also send their school/college certificates though because they have asked many to provide them later eventhough dependants were type (no harm in providing extra documents)but if you think its too much work then dont send any

i got a mail for medical on my indian address.
Actully we did a enquiry through MP (Canadian). He sent a mail to LVO ND and we got a reply from LVO ND that they all ready sent medical to us in NOV 2012.
But at that time we were in india so we missed that latter . So LVO ND sent medical again on our indian address.

I will suggest to u also please put an enquriy thro' ur MP.

But question here is do we need to calculate this according to the time when we applied for sponsership or we have to calculate it according to the present scenerio(I mean present age of dependent or age at the time of sponsership applied).

Can you please explain this?.

In my medical letter i also asked for the same documents.
So i am just sending two documents of each.that is 2 docs for relationship b/w main applicant and sponser.
2 docs for relationshop b/w main applicant and spouse.
2 docs for relationshop b/w main applicant and dependent.

IS this fine??
Or do i need to send more document's?


Please help.
