We sent all the docs, meds and pp on dec 14. It still shows App. Received & medical received.
May be wait for another month I guess.

Over one year since medicals? You should be jumping up and down and fretting!
If you have not heard from CIC, it is possible that your parents may have to do the medicals again. Your options:
1. Contact your local MP (in Canada) and ask them to follow up with CIC ND.
2. Make and online inquiry and mark it as urgent. Provide the details and inform them that you have not heard from CIC for over a year after the medicals were submitted

GCMS notes take over 30 days and there isn't much info you can get from it. You can still apply for the GCMS notes on your parent's behalf.

i was thinking about emailing them...but as its only 2 yrs since the file has been sent to the local visa office in contrast to their processing time of about 34 months (abt 3 yrs), i am not sure if they will reply my inquiry. also the acknowledgment letter says not to contact them for status inquiry if the case is still within the processing time frame....

i m definitely very frustrated....evry day i wake up to hear some gud news.....but.....allas!!!

Sorry It was not for document Verification but for Clarification. I called CIC Call center and asked them how to respond to them. It was very simple. She replied you just have to mentioned that there was an error from your side in answering to questions. She helped me draft it. But I can never forget to thank you all for helping me get the answer that I was looking for. BTW, my mom got the request for medical, passport and PCC to submit before March 9th 2013. My brother already made an appointment for medical on Feb 5th 2013 and prepared package ready to send after medical..... Thank you all once again.....

If you found out the times I have emailed them - u have a legit reason saying that your PP is with them since the dark ages

Best is go to MP and do an inquiry, GCMS etc will take a while , as with the email response

Your timeline is what it is coz the timing of your app, early 2007 were going via old process..there was another user here and his passport was in Delhi for over 9 months

In addition to what User828 mentioned, refer to the Document Checklist that you should have received. It clearly specifies which document should be original and which copies.

I have good news to share.My father receive Copr by mail today.it took approximately 50 days after he send his passport copies to London cic. Best wishes for all. Rajaji will you please update in spreadsheet.

Fantastic news, h-india! It is so hard to remain patient when the LVOs move so slowly over the many years we have been waiting. When is your father coming to join you? Big celebrations when he does,I expect. Happy days.

I emailed CIC-O on Jan 31st & I got reply back today from the officer working on my file. So that proves that CIC helpdesk reviews emails within 24hrs & forward it to the officer working on it.

"you should be receiving a letter from us shortly, I approved your parents case on..., The letter will give you specific advice on where to send your parents passports"

Now will just wait for the letter to show up.

Advice: So the travel forms having space for 10 trips, my father has 46 and mother has about 30

So as of now I have filled the foreign travel form with File, Name and their signature. In the actual column, I have written <<< Attached >>> and and then attached an excel sheet with FROM TO, Country and reason with paper clip

1) Should I leave as is?

2) Should I insert their info ( like UCI ) on the excel sheet and have it signed

3) Should I utilize the 1st page of the travel form and then write contd..and attach remainder in the excel sheet ( with option 2 stuff as well )

4) Use travel forms only and have them sign each and every one and write like Page 1 of 4, 2 of 4 etc

Greg, I used 2 travel forms for my mom. Just fill it and number the pages with signature.
This is my opinion. Lets c what others reply.
