Please note I didn't get any CPP-Ottawa's notification yet, my MP informed me CPP-Ottawa approved our application and a visa will be issued.

Hello Folks,
I have another news to share! My dad received an email today asking to submit passport for the next steps in the processing. Also email advised to submit passport through VFS and that passport will be returned within 7 days if everything is in order. I guess I am close to the finish line now. Thank you all for your feedback and information!

When did file your sponsorship application? Did you receive this information directly from CPP-Ottawa or through your MP?

My sponsorship application was filled Feb 28, 2008.
I received this information through my MP.

here is the ans...
1) they giv us 2 months for sending back evrything....otherwise case will refuse
2) i m a full time student with regular studies....now i m in post graduation
3) i recevied letter via post...

dear Par4u...its a 4 page letter...1st page that requested for additional doccuments....and next 2 pages include what we need in medical exam & doccument checklist.....and last page is a form...that for non-accompanying dependents...

so i post 1st becouse i thing this is main...

In order to asses this application, updated copies of the items listed beloware requested.Please note if we do not receive the items listed below within 60 days of the date on this letter this application will refused.

* Application form for yourself

* A schedule 1 form for you and one for all accompanying dependents over the age of 18

* An additional family information form for you and for allaccompanying dependents over the age 18

* we also require that you and other family members who are included in this application undergo complete medical examinations at designated medical practitioner..

My mom has done medicals on Feb 21st, 2012 in Canada
- file was in process in CPP-O since March 14,
- decision was made August 4th
- I din't get any latter yet from CPP-Ottawa, only my MP got a confirmation CPP-Ottawa approved our application and a visa will be issued.

hmm I'm from Oct 2007 and I'm still waiting for AOR from LVO. maybe because my LVO is not India this news doesn't apply for me

My mother visited Canada in january and returned to india in june. i sent addition documents on feburary 2012, mentioning my address in canada.received a letter dated april 2, 2012 that i met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. and my my case was transferred to New Delhi. On May 9, 2012, i received an email for medical and some additional documents from Ottawa. Medical was done in may, 2012 in Canada additional documents sent to Ottawa on june 2012. Ecas status changed to medical received in june 2012, my mother left to India in june but i did not change my address to India. my question is how i can know where they are processing my case In India or in ottawa. do i need to change her address for correspondence to india . I also sent representative form. any information/ suggestion appreciated.
