Still waiting for acknowledgement letter and approval from CIC.
How many from May are still waiting for acknowledgement here?

Did you check your e-case file or your parents'? What did it say?

We request to change principal applicant.in first line my mother name shown and in second line my father name and one thing more in my mother pr application it show 'application received'

Decision Made parent Sponsorship Without MEDICAL

Hi

We have not gotten medical yet. But the ecase status showing "decision made". it was family sponsorship case. Mother with three dependants.


Actually it was sponsorship case and was already approved in Aug-2007. File was transferred to CHC Isb and proccessing had started in 14-Feb-2008. In Sep-2010 we have submitted additional documents. After one year of waiting i sent CSQ in Nov-2011 they replied background checks are underway. We waited another 4 months then they replied the "File is with Decision making offcier since Mar-2012". Today status changed from in process to Decision Made. Since we have not received medical or any other thing. By checking on the forum mostly these type of cases are REJECTED..

Quick update as I got LVO AOR. Already updated the profile. One of my known who sent additional docs in the middle of May got Decision made letter as file transferred to LVO.

thanks sibnadian, definitely something must be done....I don't understand how they take decision to transfer files? some files are transferred to Ottawa and some to local VO's.....and files transferred to Ottawa are ONLY considered as PILOT PROJECT, what about files transferred to other VO's? This is no way for processing files......all files no matter where they are transferred to MUST be treated under PILOT PROJECT and given equal importance.
Those who applied in 2009 and files transferred to Ottawa got medical and who applied in 2007 (like me) files transferred to ND and not hearing anything!!!! Why ND and other VO files are not considered under PILOT PROJECT? This issue must be raised

Our file was transferred to OTTOWA April 19th but as yet no call for medical . I have noticed that the period between file transfer and medical request has been getting steadily longer ,presumably because the case files have increased in number during this period.
Anyone else got similar dates ? We applied in June 2008 by the way.

yes.......now I am getting some support to my posts.......yes I fully agree we should contact sponsorourparents.org and ask there help and also ask them to provide guidance to contact media......I think we should also contact NDP, because Late Mr Jack Layton also raised concern for faster processing of parental files in Fed. election.......so guys lets proceed for this

Whatever happened to the online POLL they took recently, the comments on newspaper sites and many forums are that Canadians generally think that "foreign" parents are a burden, their whole thought process revolves around how much they will absorb from the healthcare ( which I believe is the most exaggerated aspect in this country ). They don't even offer alternatives, and we are their mercy

But frankly, it's their call as it's their country. We chose to come here and have to play by their rules - for them, "home" concept is very normal whereas for us it's unthinkable and our culture and affection with parents are another level.

What does CSQ mean? and why do you think it will be rejected on what basis?

Thanks, its good to see that they sometimes update e-case quicker than AOR. It is "application received" for your mother; what does it say for your father? Are these both under your sponsorship column or under PR? Sorry for so many questions, I am trying to get my head around this e-case thing.
