Nothing. Since you are the representative of your mother, it is your address that would appear (the one that you provided in the "mailing address" section of the imm0008 form. The "Residential Address" does not appear on the ecas.

Hi All,

New to this forum.

This is my timeline:
Initial Application: June 4, 2009
Doc Requested: March 30, 2012
Doc Sent: 08 May 2012 (arrived CIC-M on the 9th)
AOR date: 18 May 2012
No dependant, just mom and dad.
E-Cas changed to 'Decision Made' on June 6th - stating the letter was sent on June 4th. Haven't received it yet.

Not sure whether it has gone to LVO or Ottawa yet.

Thank you!

From the date of the letter, get a medical appt ASAP

thanks, i had her travel 6 hours from our province to get her medical exam done...her file was stamped June 7, so, whew! that was close...what a slow postal service we have-:(

Hi - does anybody know what the next entry in E-CAS will be after it says "medicals have been received"; what's the next thing to be reported on E-CAS? We are at that stage and I am wondering if I should expect a new entry, relating to the decision on the medicals, or next steps (passport request, etc.)?.
thanks!

Here's a brief description of what the respective comments mean:

Usually, when medicals are completed (and there are no additional tests), then the only thing that remains is the background/security check. After that, depending on the quota, they request for ppt for the visa to be stamped. Good luck and keep your fingers crossed.

Welcome to the forum. I've add your timeline to the online spreadsheet. (See the link in the signature section on my post). Use the link on your signature too. Update the sheet as and when you receive information from CIC so that it is shared with all the members and we get an idea of the process that CIC follows.

If you make any updates to the sheet, do not forget to go through the remarks on the top row of the sheet!

Thanks and join the waiting game!

when logged in with my parents application number i can now see my parents address though seems like they have messed up the address somehow.. need to make changes to it.
did anyone put their parents home and mailing address as your own address in canada? is that ok? mailing address is understanble but when i tried to change my parents address online it was also asking to change the home address for them. so didnt do it yet.

I just checked my ecas (using parents file #, the one starting with an F). It changed from last week. For quite a long time prior to now it showed my parents home address but it was messed up - country name was missing, some numbers and street name were merged etc - i.e. looked like either careless retyping or maybe OCR recognition screwed up a bit (if they scanned the forms).
By the way, I put my address (not parents) as mailing address in all the forms (IMM008 and use of rep) so I was concerned also why my parents address is showing up (apart from it being screwed up :-) )

Anyway, it was showing on my parents file for quite a while like that (ever since I got the 'application complete' letter - the one they sent before the sponsor approval letter). I asked the agent once over the phone about that and she said not to worry - they will fix it when they get to processign the application.

TOday I checked the status and it now changed to MY address showing up as mailing address (which is how I intended it), so looks like someone touched our application. Not sure if it was the LVO or Ottawa or Mississauga - I do not even know anmore where our application is (as the agent recently told me that it looks likeour case is now 'in transit' back to Ottawa while initially it was transferred to LVO as per the approval letter).

where do you see the address ? when you log in to CIC,

on top it said client applications status, where i see my name and it says current home address which is our canadian home address,
then we have three columns with below

Sponsored Person Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Statu

Name of my dad Decision made applications recived

in sponsersip applications sttaus and perment residnence status dosents show any address of my parents, as thats what i put in IMM0008.

the only address i see is my current home address and it was there from long time.
so confuse any help would be great.

For those who are representative and see your mailign address on parents file: do you have the letters c/o in front of your name?

That is what I see ... (just curious if other people do to.). Just wondering if that is an indication that they do have me as a representative in CIC records (I know some forum members had problem with it even though they submitted the use of rep form).

if you have received the AOR from CPC-M for sponsorship there should be an application number which is actually your parents file number .
login to ECAS with that application number and put your parents last name as principal applicant and DOB and Country..
the information there will all be for your parents.
