application November 2007
file trf may 2012
interview July 2015
After interview visa office told that we will get email
but till date that is 5 months after giving interview
we haven't got email still waiting for email
medicak expired

any body experience members Rooziroti
what should I under stand
am I approved or not
and one thing more
I have completed 8 year's
how much more
it's getting frustrated day by day
how much they can take after interview
any experience members

moreover in September done mp inquiry
they told they will take decision within 3 months
that is by december this year but it's already 6th December

Have you tried to contact your MP. Why don't you write to the immigration minister. His contact details are as follows:

I can't believe your case has taken so many years to process. The new govt promised to speed up the processing of parent cases so send him an email and details about your case.

Hi everyone!

I have an urgent question. I am a new sponsor, trying to apply for my husband's parents (my in-laws). They have one daughter aged 17 who is healthy in all sense and not married and clearly a dependent child as she is living at home with her parents doing her education. My question is would she be able to accompany her parents (my in-laws) to Canada; would CIC grant her a visa as well, along with my in-laws, since she is a minor and a dependent?

Please advise. All your answers would be much appreciated!

This thread mainly deals with old applicants, whose applications are processed under old rules, quite different from new/current ones for parental program.

You're better off posting on the new threads which are available on the forum which have new applicants. Check CIC website for the details for the new rules/regulations/procedures.

Yesterday, Permanent Residence Application Status changed to "Decision Made". Now when should I expect the email or letter for passports assuming hopefully it will be a positive decision

Congratulations Usman_14PK...... R u sure this is changed to Decision made on Sunday as we heard earlier that systems are updated on every Tuesday? Hope you receive the passport request soon..... Is your case processed in ISD or London?

Did anyone got there passport back from CHC Islamabad in recent times? my parents passport was received on 23rd Nov and my passport was received in Ottawa on 23rd as well. But haven't got anything back yet...

Yes, the status was changed on Sunday or may be late Saturday. It's CPC-Ottawa.

Hi,

I am just two weeks behind and in my case the decision was made on DEC 6. I think you should call the CPC call centre and enquire about your case.

Ok so for the people who got the DM status on there ECAS.. We had the same situation our DM was around end of October 2015 and then waited 2-3 weeks no response from CIC. Our case was at London Visa office so we just emailed them saying our status changed to decision made and we haven't got any further instruction from LVS and kindly advise.
after 24 hours sending that email.. we got the PPR request.
So it doesn't hurt sending them an email and in my case it worked... so wait couple of weeks if they don't send any further correspondence just email them asking for further instructions thats all! keep it to the point and simple..
