Standard Question: What is the medical expiry date. Is it the date when the medicals were done (no re-test in our case) or is it the day when CIC received the medicals, ours were sent e-Medicals.
My belief was that it is the day when the medicals were done. But don't know if that is still the case.

Means they expire on that day, if one hasn't entered Canada before that then they have to take meds again

1-recieved application in April 2008
2-started processing on 27 dec 2012
3-medical results have been received.

Is there any other point that has to be added on Ecas status Other than these?
when will I get decision made?

Hiii everyone...... We received letter fr remedicals today.... But didn't get pp back...I Called physician staff siad at first no ...either they need adar card or PAN card or pp ....then she said after consulting physician that pp xerox are ok to be done with remedicals. I don't know whether to beleive or not this. What i want to say that after reaching there hopefully they won't change their statement and will not waste r time. And if needed what is process to get pp back fr remedical from embassy ? Is it possible to get pp back by hand perosnally ? Please advise

Hey friends I have a sad news.
I came to know that my Mom's passport is expiring at the end of this month.
So i am asking that what should we do now.
I am one of two dependents on the file.
Medicals were done in June 2013.
Case hasn't went in process yet.
Any suggestions friends?

Hi ... The timeline is :application filed 2008 march
Trsnsfered to NDVO : june 2012
Medical : nov 2012
Med done: jan 2013
Interview for father (police job ): april 2013
Aftrr tht now remedical req: april 7 2014

Nd letter describes chest xray along with duly completed reassessment form so dnt know just x ray or full med needed. This letter v received by post so already 7 days are gone.

Helping canadian i asked u earlier abt if anybody on ur file is in police or army bt i didnt get d ans so m asking again . Thanks

Would you be able to clarify one thing. I know Canadian Government is taking steps to reduce existing backlog for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship, and based on graphs shown on CIC website citizenship and immigration shows a big improvements. Why are the processing times at initial stage sponsorship (applicant approval) and visa offices processing times increase, since application ammount in backlog decrease?

You are on the wrong thread sisiter, this thread is for parents only. You should go to pak/afghan spouse thread if there is one, there you might find likewise users and get some more insight of your case than this thread.

they are right..same ws our case..we also dint recievd PP...our Physcian accepted xerox of passports..but also take your adhar card or Pan card or driver license in original along with you..dnt worry abt Passports..just get your medicals done as soon as possible...

medicals expiry date is one year from the date they reciev medicles/they check medicles..it usually 15-20 days(and one year) after your medicles are done..
