I have one question. I applied in May 2010. I am always meeting LICO for our famly. I have one question now. For 2013 tax do I have to meet old LICO rules or new LICO rules (Old LICO + 30%).

All the rules at the time the application was filed will be applied to you. No new rules will apply. So do not worry about the new LICO rules. Those are for fresh applicants who applied in 2014.

Plz clear me on this.. my file transferred to new delhi in 2012... i know the cpc mississauga checked my sponsorer income and was satisfied and took the decision....now do my sponsorer have to maintain the same income till we get PR or there is some relaxation ?

just wanted to write my last post on this web and update u guys.
My family arrived last month, since that day my life has become 100 times better. I am happy 24/7
I feel like a kid again credit goes to mom lol.

Hi, has you sponsorship eligibility been approved with Mississauga already?

In case it's needed they will ask for the income proof using the old LICO rules.

It's always recommended to meet the LICO till your sponsorship application is finalized. You never know if they are gonna ask for proof of meeting LICO or not again. It's totally up to discretion of the officer.

I currently don't meet the LICO to sponsor both of my parents, however my sister and I have enough LICO to sponsor one parent each, does anybody know if this is possible? I think I read somewhere that you have to declare BOTH parents and BOTH parents would have to go together? Thank you!

One more thing, For one of the dependent information is hidden in GCMS notes....Is there any thing to worry about that????

Its either some confidential info or they prefer to see their consent - happened in my case where they were hiding mothers case - but I included her info in consent form, it was ok after that

Dear forum members I just came to know that my mother's and sister's passports are expiring in last week of April.
So are there any chances of getting our visas soon or will they send passports back for renewal??

I think its needs to be with atleast 6 months expiry

Sorry, not possible. You can take on a 2nd job or consultation work, pay enough taxes to show the required amount ( btw, your sister can co-sponsor with her spouse to meet the required income for both parents )

I have had same situation where it doesn't show some comments but they have reference per law that they are not to show that. I had provided the consent forms for all the applicant individually. I think it has something to do with the law that they are not to disclose some information.

Can his sister not co-sign with him(brother) to sponsor their parents? Co-sponsor can be anyone.

Only spouse or common-law partner of the sponsor may help to meet the income requirement by co-signing the sponsorship application.
