Does it mean that it takes 3 weeks for CPC-M to mail a letter? Did you phone the call centre while waiting?
Yes I did call and they said that the letter has been sent. I checked mail everyday and letter came after 3 weeks.

Thank you for your reply. It looks like it takes quite long for CPC-M mail the letters. I'm not surprised with anything these days.

In my case the call centre said that the letter was not mailed out either... It's really frustrating. How come the decision made status could've been updated by itself.

Shamrock, what exactly is the confusion. Ecas always updates to DM and the letter is sent eventually. Are you confused that CIC agent didn't have any update? if yes, don't worry about it - they don't have all the info and is very unreliable source of information. If you want to give it a shot, try and call again, you are mostly likely to get a different answer

We called them a few times already - the same response, that the decision was not made and no letter sent out. They keep saying that it ecas error.

how is it actually ecas gets updated?

While ecas error is possible, its rare occurrence - you can't do anything but wait

Thanks for the support helping canadian. Yes I am a dependent and was 21 years 6 months when my application was filed in 2007. I finished study in 2010 and currently working. As the second medical expiry time is inching closer, I am getting a bit concerned. So using all possible options to contact them and reminding them of my medical expiry.

They never asked me for educational documents or proof of study. I myself filled in the updated application that I finished studies in 2010 and working since. They never raised any issue.
