in our case medical was done on Dec 3rd 2013 and additional tests first week of march 2013
e cas showing medical received since last six months
now three lines are there
1 received ur application on aug 2008
2 start processing on 20th nov 2013
3 medical has been received

e cas changed to IN PROCESS last week I know there are not much chances that it changes to decision made with in next 8 to 10 days but u never know .
Lets hope for the best

I am submitting the additional document request information to CIC. There is a question about Nationa Identity on form IM0008, i have provided the information, but do i need to include the copies of the national identity documents. On their document checklist nowhere it says to include copies of national identity documents. Please advise. Thanks

Reading all the comments here in the last month or two, I am inferring, because of the strike and backlog, NDVO is processing applications irrespective of when the application was filed. They may be processing application first considering the below:

1. Medicals expiring soon
2. Medicals already expired
3. Passports submitted a year ago
4. Passports submitted before the strike action started

What I mean to say is that as in my case we have 5 months for the medical to expire, so we should not expect anything sooner as the strike has caused an imbalance in the normal processing of applications and there may be a procedure in place citing certain criteria for the officers looking at our files to clear backlogs and make sure they try not to request another medical or so as it is only going to stress them with more work.

Status changed to Decision Made on Nov 21st 2013

there is also a Line stating - decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

No Idea if thats a good News or not and of the line stating "decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision" is a generaic line used by Consulate ?

if anyone has any idea about this, I'll Appreciate if you can please share

your file processed so fast man........how many members are there in your case.....and i think it's a good sign you will get your pp within 2 weeks .....and they always add "decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision" this line dont worry
