Thanks for the info. My case is similar to yours except the refusal . My sister sponsored my parents and me and my younger brother are dependents and we were under 22 when my sister applied. Here is my timeline.

Applied - Apr 2007
Sponsorship Approved - Feb 2010
Application Sent to ND from CPC-M - Apr 2010
Medicals and PCC Request - Nov 2011
Passport Request - Jan 2012
In-process until - Feb 2012
Decision Made - Mar 2012 (Application Refused)
Appealed decision - Apr 2012
Appeal Allowed - Oct 2012
File received by ND - Dec 2012
Remedicals and PCC Request - Mar 2013
Passport Request - Mar 2013
Passport Submitted - Apr 2013

And waiting since.

Hello Suin, They refused the application saying the sponsor did not have the minimum income required to sponsor 4 of us. My sister and my brother-in-law (co-sponsor) were far above the minimum income required. So it was all error from the officers in ND and it took up almost a year just like that for the appeal process.

medical has been expired as of now.....
medical done date 15/10/2012
and now it is 12/10/2013... and till now there is now newsss
so i think it has expiredd.........
now what should be donee wether medical willl be extended.. or not
12 months has been passed since we have submitted passport...
and all are sittting like this onlyy,,,,, so be ready to get medical expire
bcs our's is already expired

I was thinking my case is the only one where they have kept passports for 7 months. What is your visa office and have they not sent any correspondence to you either by post or by email? What I mean here is if there is anything more they need, they generally contact the principal applicant. Have you tried contacting them? Did you email them?

I dont find any instruction guide for form IMM5406, can anyone please post the document here if available. The required information is not that hard to complete but its bit confusing, does the applicant mean the principal applicant or all the dependent whether accompanying or not. Please help

According to your timeline, it seems like things move pretty fast once application to sponsor is approved in Cpc Canada. However the timeline on Delhi visa office on cic website says 59 months. How does that work?

HELLO SONU 86.. I THINK THEY DO NOT REPLY IN PERSON OVER THERE AND INFACT IT IS USELESS TO CONTACT THEM IN PERSON BCS THEY
