Nobody know's how much time its going to take.. Many people are in the same boat from New Delhi.. Some people sent their passports in oct 2012, some nov , some december and they all are still waiting for the decision made status and paasports aswell.. But according to my estimate you guys should get the passports any time now.. They might take a month more, but they will send the passports before the medicals expire since lot of passports are in the que since a long time.. Best of luck!

thanks for ur reply but its 8 months now since we have submitted our passport and medical done , so are u sure that before medical expires they will send our passport back , and how long is the limit to keep passport in new delhi visa office bcs some are geetting it around 6 to 7 months our is 8 month still no reply , no reply of e-mail also , can u pls help meee......

Their is no time limit as to how much time the ND keeps the passports.. Unfortunately their is no rule for it too.. An applicant passport is with ND since an year! So u can imagine how messed the system is! ??? Anyways but they cannot hold so many passports and let the medicals just expire, as it would do much bad rather than good and create a hassle for them.. SO i am sure you guys should maximum get the passports by august.. They would atleast give 2 months time to travel.. Thats what i believe..

I can understand what you are going through.. Its just too frustrating.. Many people from october are waiting aswell and some were mere lucky to get their passports within a short timeframe.. So yes we can conclude their is no systematic procedure or First in First out rule for it..

and done with Docs and Passports, its time to post our package
But Dont know how to dispatch it to Canadian High Commission....Can we use courier service
DO vfs-Global sends our passport and docs to CHC, Do they Charge Something ?

As the other person suggested it takes almost a year for ND to get back. I hope you are not expecting there to be a 'rule' for ND consulate because there is non. Some people get it back in 6 months others 1 year almost. I also know people who had to do medicals again as they expire while waiting for other checks to complete. So best case scenario is you would get it within a month. Order GCMS notes if you are curious.

Congrats cslave! After all your anxiety about Singapore Visa Office, you finally got the ppt request. I am pretty sure Singapore office does not hold on to the ppts as long as ND office does. So you can expect a visa very soon.
