I agree with you on this, @nitink01 and @sribrosrs . I’m actually surprised to see how everyone is receiving the same type of ADR. It’s always one of these: ‘proof of relationship,’ ‘birth certificate,’ or ‘IMM 5669/5406.’ It really seems like the system is generating these automatically rather than someone manually reviewing the documents.
my take on this is another way to create job security by agents at IRCC given the low amount of productivity etc

lol, on top of this, my mom's already here in Canada on a super visa, in the application, I had also provided with the UCI number. All they need to do is, open that application, same documents were provided (my birth certificate) as proof of relationship.
These additional document request seems pretty wrong as we can see so many ppl getting the same doc request.

Did you get a request to submit PCC with additional documents or you submitted it yourself?

I submitted it myself on November 18. After linking my application to GCKey, I was able to see my file number. Since I already had the PCC in hand, I thought it was best to go ahead and submit it upfont.

Today in the AOR document they asked me to submit PCC, principal applicant address and email. I am thinking to resubmit it again

Hi Everyone,

My mom's here on supervisa and was planning to return in Feb 2026. However, today we got an email request for PCC.

Police Certificate: The principal applicant and their dependent family member (if applicable) must provide police certificates from:
• Their current country of residence if they have resided there for 6 months or more, and
• The country where they have spent most of their adult life since the age of 18 (if different than current country of residence).

As per the above guidance - does this mean that she will need to PCC both from India and Canada?

Thanks!

what was your process for obtaining the PCC, was it through Indian embassy here in Canada or directly from India?

I got it done from India.

Step-by-step process my parents followed in India

  1. Created an account on the Passport Seva portal under my mother’s name using: https://www.passportindia.gov.in/psp/ApplyPCC
  2. Filled out the online PCC application for both the primary applicant and the dependent.
  3. Paid the fee of ₹500 per applicant online.
  4. Visited the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) at the scheduled appointment time with the original passport, Aadhaar card, and appointment confirmation.
  5. Application was accepted, and I received an acknowledgment receipt with a tracking number.
  6. Local police verification was done—constable visited our home, took signatures, photos, and thumb impressions.
  7. Received the PCC certificate by email within 2–3 days after police verification.

Hope it helps. Pls let me know if you need any additional details

Thank you, my mom is here in Canada so wondering what the process will be.

Hello i am trying to link application with gc key but unsuccessful what should I enter in number of applicants? For my father only. I tried 1, 2 ( him and me) , 5 as well ( 1 plus 4 family members), even tried 4 , nothing works. Also used ecas and nothing shows up. Seems they have not started processing the application yet with XF number with pending documents request. I submitted the pending docs both via email and web form etc so assuming they received it (got confirmation) but don't know if they started processing it for app to become tracked online
