I got an email asking for additional documents. Some makes sense, but others do not.

So they received and accepted my (sponsor's) birth certificate. But this is not the very original one from the 90s, things were digitized and this was re-issued in the 2010s.

So they just want my old (non-canadian) passport to cross check?
Original birth certificate and old school records might be hard to track down, but is that what they want?

Not sure about this one. Even if I fill it out manually, the information in there would be the same. Not sure why they see it as incomplete.
Only reason I can see is my mother's parent's birthdates are unknown. In the online form, it only accepted dates (not texts), so I left it blank. In the letter of explanation, I mentioned that the dates are unknown, but I'm not sure if they read through the letter.

My mistake, I put both my father's and mother's resume in the same file. Clearly they did not read through it, and maybe didn't scroll down to my mother's section.
I got an Email today about the IMM 5406 as well. I left blank an address of my uncle.
But now they are asking that each individual must fill and sign their own copy, does it mean that all the dependents need to fill out this form on their behalf and sign it? I don't get the requirements in the message.

In the acknowledgement (AOR) email attachment, they are asking to provide updated address and email address for the principal applicant. Since this information was already provided as part of the application, does it still need to be sent to CPC Mississauga even if no change in either?.If yes, any idea how? Thanks in advance.

That's what i'm trying to figure out. Have you tried logging into GCKEY to see if you have a document request? When I login, there is no document request and no option to upload anything

I created a new GC Key account for my mom as I don't remember what account I had used years ago to apply for their visitor visa. After creating a new account, I tried linking an application to it but it can't find the application.

Were you able to link the application successfully in the GC Key account or did yours show up automatically in an existing account? If you were able to link it then what information combination did you use? Like you, I would prefer to submit the documents directly through this account too instead of webform.

Hi folks - IRCC sent email today requesting additional docs. However, I am confused. The letter was addressed to my spouse - the sponsor but has mentioned the following:

"<Mother's name>
• Proof of Relationship (DEP): As proof of relationship to your spouse please provide the Aadhaar and Voter’s ID card for yourself and your spouse. NOTE: Affidavits are not acceptable as proof of relationship. If the document originally issued by a government authority was not in English or French, please provide a certified copy of both the document in the original language [birth/marriage/divorce/death certificate] along with a certified translation in English or French."

My Q is since the letter is addressed to my spouse, I am confused if they are asking the Aadhar card and Voter ID for herself and her mom and their proof of relationship? Or, are they asking for proof of relationship between her mom and dad? We had already submitted their marriage certificate along with original application so not sure why they need this? Dad is principal applicant, Mom is dependant and my spouse is sponsor.
Another follow-up Q. This email was sent to the sponsor and not the applicant. Does it mean that I need to email the requested documents from the sponsor's email? Or should the applicant (my father) send it from his email?
