Below is the status of my parents application - 2024 application. Received a letter today stating - "You now qualify to receive pre-arrival services".

Review of eligibility

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results

• September 16, 2025 You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents

• September 9, 2025 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

Interview

• You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics

• We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check

• Not applicable.

Final decision

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Can someone advise - based on similar experiences - what does "qualify for pre-arrival services" mean and what would be the next steps?

Hi guys, I am facing a situation I am wondering if you guys can help. My mom landed in September, I got called IRCC yesterday to ask about the status of her card. I was told that the photo was rejected and an email was sent. We never got any email, I asked for the email to be resent. I was told that another email will come but she said there is no timeline. Now I got her to take new photo but I haven't received any email.. did anyone face the same situation? Can I submit the photo from webform? Or does it need to be mailed to them? I want to be proactive and the photo now

I been asked to submit additional document to support the Poof of Relationship (SPR) for my mother PR application within 30days. I already provided the my birth certificate which has my mother name. I also provided the my passport which has my mother name consist of "First name of mother- Father Name-Last name" but the issue is my mother passport has name consist of her "First name & Last name". The letter received says please provide your "Aadhaar card and old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate)" but unfortunately none of these certificate has mother name. They also mentioned to provide voter card but i never had one when was in India. Anyone suggestion on what can be done in this situation?

I have got below inquiry before few days.

Proof of Relationship (SPR): As proof of relationship to the principal applicant, please provide your voter ID card, Aadhaar card and old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate). If you are unable to provide these items, you may provide the principal applicant's Ration card, your Indian passports (expired and current) and/or OCI, and PAN/Income Tax card. NOTE: Affidavits are not acceptable as proof of relationship. If you are sponsoring your grandparent, you must include a copy of your mother or father's birth certificate, as well as your own birth certificate in order to support your relationship to the principal applicant. If the document originally issued by a government authority was not in English or French, please provide a notarized (certified) copy of both the document in the original language [birth/marriage/divorce/death certificate] along with a certified translation in English or French. In addition also include as proof of relationship to the principal applicant, please provide your mother's or father's voter ID card, Aadhaar card and old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate). NOTE: Affidavits are not acceptable as proof of relationship.

Questions:
1) My PAN card has different name of father. for example, instead of "first name kumar" it says, "first name bhai". should i send PAN card or not?
2) My father does not have ration card.
3) Since i am citizen of canada, i dont have voter ID of india, I am sending OCI and cancelled indian passport and both shows my father name correctly.
4) I have adhar card but it has my husband name.
5) I have higher school certificate, school leaving certificate and bachelor's degree. it has my full name where middle name shows as my father name.. but there is no particular line which tell me father full name. so should it be okay?
4) should i write any explanation Letter? if yes, please help what to mention.

I'm PGP 2025 applicant and i received the AOR and PCC request today. There is an instruction in the letter to submit documents through CIC Secure account which i assume GCKEY account but when i login to GCKEY, there is no place to upload documents.
Where and how do i upload PCC if i don't want to send it through webform.
Can someone please advise? Appreciate your help in advance!

I was about to post the same .. my timeline also matches very closely with yours. My parents did biometric 3rd July, 2025 and after that nothing. I thought they might be on summer vacation and after Aug will send medical but nothing till today. Not sure whats really going on !

My parents are currently in Canada. I applied for my mother’s visitor record extension in November 2024, but the application is still processing — it has now been about one year with no update.

Some important details:

1. My mother’s previous visitor record was only extended until December 2024, while my father’s was extended until October 2026 because my mother’s biometrics had expired.
2. We reapplied for my mother’s extension using a new GCKey account, including a letter of explanation and referencing her original application number, to request that her new expiry date match my father’s.
3. Both of my parents currently have a permanent residence (PR) application in process.

Could you please advise what I should do, given that her extension has been processing for almost a year?

Hi, not a 2025 case but Final Decision shows:

Lates Update:
FINAL DECISION: November 5, 2025. Your application is in progress.

No letter or PPR yet. Call centre said a decision has been made but the officer will need to inform you. So she could see the notes but not tell me anything? Anyone else has had this happen?
