Mississauga office. I had to get MP’s help as I didn’t hear anything from them after submission of application. Talked to MP in December and then finally in February they sent an inquiry to Ircc and got AOR after that in couple of weeks in March. I had sent all possible docs initially so no additional document request. Thanks

Hi- I received a letter from IRCC saying that I have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor for my parents PR application, and CPC-Mississauga will be processing the application. The letter asks for Updated residential address, RRPF, Medical Examination, Biometrics, PCC, Military Service, CV-Resume.

A few questions to regd. this:

1. I recall sending RRPF (fees) receipt, Resume as part of original documentation. Do I need to submit them again?
2. My parents lived in the US for around 10 months in the US during covid. Do they need PCC from the US? They have lived in Canada also for around a year on visitor record visa extension so do they need Canada clearance from RCMP? we have not received any special letter for Canada PCC though.
3. I had already submitted the PCC from home country a few months ago. Do I need to resubmit it?
4. Medical examination in IRCC secure portal shows as passed. I am assuming they used the results from my parents recent approved super-visa application, Will they need to do anything again?
5. They completed biometrics submission just last week. Will the IRCC portal show any update for it?

If someone can respond based on their experience it would be super helpful.

Hi All,

I got the Biometric Collection Letter today. Any idea if Medical letter (generally) would follow within a week's time? Trying to avoid multiple trip to those centres as we stay far from there and is lot of travel 12hr to reach there.

Any way I can get medical request to IRCC?

Hi, did you get your medical request yet? I received the biometric request on the same date as you but still waiting for the medical request. From this spreadsheet, it looks like it may take 7 days if your application is also processed at Mississauga office.

After roughly 55 weeks on this journey, my mom’s PR application has officially been approved. We’ve received her eCoPR, and her provincial health card is now on its way to our address. She has also received her SIN which is coming on the mail, along with a temporary provincial ID while waiting for the plastic card to arrive. We have opened her a bank account as well. It’s been a surprisingly smooth process, to say the least. Wishing the best of luck to everyone still patiently waiting: Your time is coming soon!

I have got PCC request for my mother. I got the request through mail. I am trying to link application to GCkey account and its not working.
Can someone help with tips and tricks? I have tried multiple times but still struggling.
