Hey folks. A couple of questions regd. my parents application.

1. How were you able to link application to IRCC secure account?
   I have no idea on how to track the application processing because none of the online application tracking systems return anything.
   I have tried using primary applicant's UCI and application number to link several times but system fails to find the application.
   The last email from IRCC was on March 7th with the following wording "This letter confirms that your Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class was received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga on behalf of the following family member(s):" They had requested a Police clearance letter and passport copies in the letter. We submitted those within 2 weeks and then haven't heard back.
2. My parents just arrived in Canada on a super visa on May 27th. Do I simply update the residential/mailing address in webform?
   This got answered by Sahiut below.

The linking takes a bit of luck and lots of perseverance. Try every combination of UCI, application number, date of birth till it's done. Try only 4 different combos every day (they allow 5 every 24 hours) and write down which ones you've already used. All the best!

Hello Everyone, I just received biometric request for my parents after submitting PCC 2 weeks back. My parents are travelling to canada in 2 weeks. My question is - can I get their biometrics done here ? do I need to inform CIC that they are travelling here and will be staying for 4 months ? TIA

This is an administrative step and can be received at any point during processing. It does not mean that PPR is imminent.

Post the March 7, 2025 Update on 2025 Parents and Grandparents Program, has the Lottery taken place ? Have the Invitation to apply started going out.

No and no information has been announced.

Hi all, how long does it take once you provide the details on passport pictures, latest home address and email request. I uploaded them via the portal link they provided and upon submission an email got to my fathers email address that I gave too. Its been almost 2months+ now. Should I wait or anyway can check whats going on with the application?

I uploaded passport photo and address onto Portal on May 23rd. No update after that.

Yes, my parents were in Canada at the time of biometric request and we did it here. Yes, better to inform IRCC about their trip.

Since 18 years old. And make sure there are no gaps at all in your timelines.

I got a letter for my mother's PGP application yesterday asking for passport submission, but since she is in canada it said to submit webform informing the IRCC about it as this will be for the virtual landing so i have submitted the webform yesterday. i believe next step will be the P1 email.
