Hello Experts,

I need help. I know this group is specifically for PGP, but I don't know who can help me with my questions better than this group. I had applied for my niece's visa in Nov 2021 through the new portal and she got a rejection today, she is 2 years old and her parents (my sister) already have a Canadian visa for 10 years and visited me in Canada twice.

1. The reason they gave is that she will not return after her stay.

I am pregnant and also had surgery in September, that's why calling my sister to come here and help me in the initial days. Can someone guide me on what should I do at this point? They said in the letter that I can reapply again and provide the reason.

Please please help!

Hi all, May 2019 applicant here. Got request for marriage certificate in Dec 2021. Sent them the required documents but no update since then. They are just delaying asking documents one by one. I know there are many in the same boat waiting on PR. It is the point where I totally lost hope that they will give PR even in next 6 months. My parents are here since Nov 2020 on visitor visa and extending their stay after every 5 months. Contacting MP doesnt help either. Webforms has the same automatic shitty reply. When I hear cases for approved PR for applicants after 2019 batch I feel very frustrated and sad at the same time about how the system is operating.
Sorry long post guys but just taking out my frustration!!
Hi there! I totally support your post and also frustrated . The same boat. May 2019 application. last set of documents has been sent December 2nd. Nothing since that. Looks like they purposely delay cases ( waiting that our parents will not be able to move due to old age). May be all of us who is in the same situation should send later to Minister of Immigration?

Same here May 2019 applicants. After no progress on our application for eaxctly 2 years from AOR 1, we received Sponsorship approval in Aug 2021 and within a week we completed Bio and Medical. Later they asked for Voter ID, Adhar Card, etc in Sep 2021. Since then, no movement. I just noticed 2020 applicants already receiving their DM and COPR from the same Office CPC-M. I guess we still going to hang around for a while now.

Hi everyone,

An update on my parents file, @YULIA-2016 @robertp @laxsun @serious_cheese please update tracker:

Remedical test for both my parents on 12 Jan 2022
Pre-arrival instructions on 13 Jan 2022
medical test completed on 25 Jan 2022
Daily Living Assessment on 2 Feb 2022

Today 2 Feb 2022, Physician called my father(85 yrs old) to find on his daily living, kind of assessing if he walks without any support, if he drives, jogging his memory for address, DOB, phone number etc.
There were no concerns so hoping my parents file will be approved.

seems like there is some progress on the file after long long pause. It’s unfortunate for the 2019 PGP group
who are still waiting for the decisions. its just waiting game, hoping for the best to happen. Good Luck everyone!
Hope for a good outcome. All the best!

It is not the case. Even if address is changed to Canada, it doesnt mean they will process it faster. My parents are here since Nov 2020 and I changed the address right then and still they have not got PR. Send multiple webforms and contacted MP but all in vain.
You have to tag @mubashirathar56 here as he is the one who is looking for an answer. @Avii297 was just expressing his opinion.

To the all the users of this thread: Please try to help each other by providing information what you think is right. Try to avoid putting only critics here.

I have been waiting 2.5 years for the sponsor application for my mom.
I need to move to the US for work. However my sister will remain in Canada, but she is not the sponsor.

Can I be in the US and can she land as a resident?
Can I just come to visit Canada when she lands?
Did you get an answer to your questions? I am interested

(London visa office Applicants) June 2019 applicant. Medical and PCC done back in May 2021. I sent the first ever webform inquiry last week about status of application and received the following reply:

Thank you for your email. Please be advised that the processing of this application is ongoing and the file is currently undergoing review by a migration officer. There are no further updates to provide at this time and should additional information/documentation be required we will be in touch accordingly.

For Information of London LVO applicants.

Congratulations and all the best ahead!
Thank you! Can you let me know one thing though. In the email it says to fill out her personal info and send to them. I am confused with Original entry date in Canada and date of last time you entered Canada. So my mom came here on Nov 4 2021 and is still here so would both dates be the same? or do I need to mention the first time when she came to Canada in 2018? Will appreciate the help.
