Obviously, yes :) I am just very getting concerned that I haven't been asked for bio and a medical exam. All my friends already got their grandparents landed. so I am just worried that I did something wrong. Is your status similar to mine?
Same situation as you.

Today is a year since my parents application shows in process for both sides and I cannot believe that no movement for 1 year in their application. Application received june 18 2019 and i tried MP but he couldn't help just general in process... I understand that I am not alone but any suggestions or any thoughts of how we can expedite the process. My parents are getting older and I am disappointed
Same situation as you. 20 months so far and couting, 24 months of processing time seems far fetched. Just hoping we hear something soon. Very unfair on how these late files are being handled by IRCC.

The reason is for redo medical is the time required for ppr ( once ppr issued it gives 30 days for submission) then COPR and visa stamping to be done which also need time . COPR expiry will also need some time gap for travel. All that process will take more than a month time, the reason for redo medical.
Thank you. That really explains why.

Your parents will soon get PPR/COPR once the 2nd medical is done and passed. It will move quickly from this stage. At least your file is getting movement so that is a good sign. Best wishes to you.
Thank you for best wishes.

I booked my parents flight here to Canada next wk. They'll be coming on their tourist visa. When they arrived should I change their mailing address to my address here in Canada? I read it from past post that some did this. I just can't find the post anymore. Thank you in advance

Can someone please guide me, if I call my parents here in toronto from home country, can they do their medical here when ever London visa office asks for...? Will it increase the processing time ?
