2020 Oct. 17&20, ghost updates
2020 Nov. 5 ghost update
2020 Nov. 6, ECAS DM2, 11am received phone call from IRCC to comfirm that my parents are still in Canada. 12pm, myCIC shows approved and received corp.

Thank you all and good luck for everyone who is still in this process.

line 747, few updates:
- SA letter received on 11/03/2020
- medical done on 13/10/2020
- police check letters sent by email on 27/10/2020

Further, I received an email on 29/10/2020 saying:
This is in regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are ready to issue your visa. If you will be able to travel within the validity of your visa, please submit your passport. If you are not able to travel by this date, please advise us for next steps. You must arrive in Canada by 2021/10/22.

Prior to your travel, visit the following link which has information about Canada's quarantine requirements (https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/latest-travel-health-advice.html).

Please be advised that should you be issued documents after confirming that you can travel but fail to complete your landing before the expiry date (indicated above) that it will no longer be valid. In that case you would need to: return your Passport/Travel Document and Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) to the mission and request a reissuance of the documents with an explanation of why you did not complete your landing within the allowed time. If the reissuance is approved, you would pay a document reissuance fee (CAD 30) and you may also be required to complete new medicals and/or provide new documents for an updated background check. You will be responsible for all the associated costs.

I replied today (06/11/2020) indicating that my mother will be able to arrive in Canada in May-June 2021, and asking if I could have the visa issued in Abu Dhabi (she resides in Dubai) instead of Dar es Salaam (she is a Tanzanian citizen).

@serious_cheese you marked mine as PR DM, but ECAS still shows PR as In Process. I think the 29/10/2020 email was soliciting my response, so technically is not DM yet.

It’s going to say medical results received and it will state the date. Hope that helps.
