Guys I am expecting biometric and medical request for my parents in near future. My parents applied PR in parents and grandparents scheme last June (my mother was in Canada at the time and my dad was in Pakistan. He came to Canada after applying. Now they are both in Canada on supervisa) . Now my question is is there a way they can get biometric done in Canada or do they hav to go outside Canada for biometrics? Kindly advise.

Hi all , just some questions about the LVO - I am in line 512 in tracker
In the tracker this is mentioned

Local Visa office where your PR file will process after Sponsorship Approval.
1) if you have representative >> your Local visa office will be assign as per representative address.
2 )if you don't have representative >> local visa office will assign as per PA home address.

Now probably not a big deal - but is that factual ??

It certainly does not apply to me ( as the LVO is per PA home address even though I am representative.)

Just curious - as said not a big deal ..... we all waiting :):)

Thanks
Adding:
as per CIC (SA letter) "This office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

BIO can be now done in the Service Canada Centers.

Hi. My parents got a request for police certificates. Do they need them for Canada? They've previously said stayed in Canada for more than 6 months. How do they get this when they are back home? I was searching on CIC and it says you dont need a Canada police certificate when applying for permanent residence in Canada. So I'm confused.

It's not needed for Canada. If required, IRCC will ask for RCMP background check.
