Is the validity of your parent's visa for 8 months?

why 8, at least 11.5
we send final IME Sep 06 so its my date for visa validation

At what stage one can link the application to GCKey.
My status so far is application received for sponsor and for PR application for parents as well. I am trying to link but no success.

I linked mine using File # F000..... / when you get AOR/

Very interesting. Sadly, it seems that the number of visas issued to Ontario residents is significantly lower than other provinces, despite the population being so much higher.

Thanks Yulia for your reply. Actually it was your post that made me asked that question. I noticed you're parents have more than 6 months validity as opposed to what I previously heard. Oh I thought it was YYDDMM. That's good to know though. Thank you!

Can you please add my timelines. Below is my current status for 2018 Application for Parents. I am in BC and Parents are in India.

We received your application for permanent residence on April 30, 2018.
We started processing your application on July 22, 2018.
We sent you medical instructions on August 24, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Medical results have been received.

Hello All,

Has anyone's parents submitted their passport in India? My parents got passport submission request initially to Ottawa office. As currently they are in India so we requested them to send us the passport submission instructions in India. To my surprise today I received another passport submission email from Hong kong office detailing the passport submission instructions to Hong kong office. Could they have sent this second email by mistake?

Anybody else here who received passport submission request initially to Ottawa office and have requested IRCC for instructions of some other country later?

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

I had the same PDF when I got AOR too, but I didn't send the REP. form, after 2 month which I called to change my address they told me this form is missing on my application, I use the webform and attached rep. form to it. better send it.
I think for sponsoring the parent there is two step, first confirmation of sponsoring, second PR application for parents, customer service on the phone told me this rep. form has 3 month valid, maybe because of that they ask to submit it again for PR application.

Yes webfoem is like a form and you can attach documents to it, i filled the rep. Form, signed it, i send it to my parents they signed , then i made a pdf of it and attached it to web form.
