Pls update,
Medicals Passed. Now just for information of applicants whose parents have heart disease etc. My dad had undergone bypass 3 years ago. He is stable as such. We received medical in june and went for it. My dad was asked to reappear for some of tests after 3 months (Sep end). So we re-did them 2 days ago and had medicals passed update this morning.
Thanks

Good morning,

I got medical request this morning too. Nice to see that thing start moving on our case. As it's took 1 years to wait sponsorship approval.

Does any wan know that is mean " if you are eligible for coverage under the Federal Health Program (IFHP) the cost related to your immigration medical examination will be covered by the IFHP"

Does any one have a copy for blood test? I would like to know that exactly they looking in to blood test.

I think that is for government sponsored refugees or other refugees who naturally have a hard time to shoulder the costs. Doesn't apply to PGP applications.

Hi,
It was ecg and usual blood profile like lipids etc and particularly creatinine. I feel creatinine was the most critical.
Thanks

Thank you so much for replying. Is creatinine in normal range for your dad or he has kidney issues with higher creatinine.

I am asking because my dad has diabetes and high creatinine because of diabetes but creatinine is stable, also he has heart issues

Hi, my father had the same problem, they did a lot of testing and he was 94, at the end he passed the exam, don't worry!

Hi,
My dad does not have kidney issues but his creatinine is higher around 1.4. it has been stable from last 3 months. So I feel if its under 2 and stable it should be okay but I think they see the overall health and also other aspects in relation.
Thanks
