Contact LVO to explain the situation. Our PPR letter did have a statement to notify the LVO if the applicant wasn't able to send the PP to LVO and would like to use another location. I'm sure they will get an option to have the visas processed in Australia.

I think that will depend on the country's local visa office and method of submission. In India , generally , it takes 1 to 2 week to receive the passports back with stamped visa and COPRs. Sometimes, it can be faster too.

in my case it took just 3-4 days to receive Passport request after submitting PCC & RPRF fess receipt.

They asked for it. Same letter for submission of PCC & RPRF Fees.

got email today asking for submitting the passport.

hello everyone, yesterday we got passport request....

Question for the guys who received passport request by e-mail, Have you received separate e-mails for principal applicant and dependents or just one e-mail asking to submit everyone's passport?

Passport submission request received for parents .
Just want to confirm that do only parents have to go & submit their passport in VFS Chandigarh or anyone can go and submit parents passport & photo in VFS ?
Actually patents are busy for the time being so just need to know can brother go and submit passport in VFS.

My letter is not saying anything like that.

This is what I have in my letter, look at the bold part. Maybe different VOs have different policies.

Ø Updated Original police certificates from each country in which you have spent 6 months or more since the age of 18. For instructions on how to obtain police certificates for specific countries, click here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp. If you are unable to submit police certificate(s) within the 30 day deadline, submit proof of having applied for the certificate with your package.

You don’t need to get a police certificate for your time in Canada.

Hi All… anyone who received generic email about PCC and other docs on June 5th has currently have background check in progress. I received generic email on June 5th and sent all docs on June 8th but so far background check has not started… just curious to see if it’s only me or there are more people like me

Hi Sunny6a..I am in the same boat like you... Received the PCC request on 11th June..uploaded on 15th June and also sent in an email (to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) on 27th June...but the background check has still not started....My CIC shows as follows:

Review of additional documents: We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

I hope we don't need to send the physical copy.

Hi @blaze123 did you received specific request to send PCC or was a generic email? mine was generic email. Also it shows they are reviewing your documents which is good sign.. mine looks like below:

I received a "Request Letter" on MY CIC account which asked to submit the IMM5562 and PCC. The generic email is different from this?

not really but I never received any request on MY CIC... all I got an email and they said if you didn't submitted these docs do it 30 days and since then no update
