To link the application, you should always use Principal Applicant's info (parent's)

Just clarifying that for LICO you need to count your children in your family size.

yes you are right however when you will try to link application, you need to count only adults , like everybody is saying it is indeed very tricky

Finally was able to link the application. Here are my 2 cents:

1. When putting "City/town of Birth" its just not just the City - I had to put CITY,STATE
Example - TORONTO,ONTARIO or MUMBAI,MAHARASHTRA. I didn't knew this but was going through Hit and trials and it worked. and neither on any application forms we mentioned state of birth. weird.!!

2. Number of Family members, including the primary applicant, that are part of this application - have to include sponsor as well as cosigner (if any). So my case -> 2 parents + 1 sponsor + 1 co signer = 4

I sent my application on Nov 21st via Canada post. It is showing out for delivery since Nov 24th. Did you receive confirmation from Canada post?

I called canada post today. They said my letter is waiting at CIC mail room
They will scan it for Canada post. My traking status will change then. Did anyone has similer experence ?

you don't have any status yet, they just accept u package, next step they check if u package is full to process

Next step is sponsorship approval where they check your application for completion and eligibility. Then it's transferred to the local visa office. Approx. timelines are in the spreadsheet. Usually it's almost a month on average from AOR to SA.

Try using Application number and Family Name and it will be principal applicant surname, not sponsor.

Try using Application number and Family Name and it will be principal applicant surname, not sponsor.

I just started following this thread and was wondering where can I view the spreadsheet for those who applied for PGP sponsorship. I just submitted my docs and wanted to see how the timelines are for those who applied so I can have a general idea as to how my application would be. Thanks!
