hello, we were invited to apply for PGP paper based- we applied since September and I cant track the application. CIC seems never to answer our calls. Also, i cant link the paper application to the CIC account. Anyone who has the same experience and got a reply for the time-range to hear any update????

The last applications sent out in first round are getting AOR recently. Most probably you will hear back in a couple of months and then track your application.

Once you link your application to mycic account, does it mean you will not receive anymore emails from IRCC? They will send all correspondence to mycic account?

I linked mine after SA only, don't know if CIC changed it

It might take a few days. When linking, use application number, principal applicant's info, skip passport info, under number of people count adults only (both sponsoring and sponsored).

AOR - you package is full and accepted
SA you approved like a sponsor so you met LICO for 3 years

It does let you skip that part (speaking from experience). As i said, give it a few days before you try.
AOR is the acknowledgement of receipt. SA is sponsorship approval which comes after your application has been assessed and approved for processing.

It will be included in the AOR email sent by IRCC.

Is there any guideline for how to link the application. I have got my SA back in June. I just realize Ecase is different from my CIC. Any combination I selected to link the accounts I get error. Who will be the applicant, is that sponsor or parents?

Application is the parent.

Although I see "Application Received" on Ecas, I didnt receive any email for AOR or SA...do you know who can i ask to get it ?

The email is sent out a few days after ecas status changes.
