Hello everyone,

This is my brother's case please we need your help.
SERVICE CANADA is not answering phone calls (Due to high volume).

His case is like this:
He has been working in 2 different provinces he is PR full time. currently, he is living in London Ontario he had a baby his wife is not working nor on EI she does not have enough hours. due to the current situation, he lost his job to his employer gave him 2 options (Parental leave or Layoff).
he is wondering how much he is going to get from Service Canada if he apply?

He is getting 17.50 per hour on his current job (that he lost) the other employer was paying him 13 per hour.
total income estimated is 24,000 for 2019 (both jobs were in 2019 one in Langly, BC and now in London Ontario)

Both jobs he got ROE for them but he is not sure how much he will be getting estimated per week or month here is a screenshot of what he is getting https://ibb.co/8MfPxpk

he has the following questions:
1- how much he can get?
2- how he can calculate the payments himself? (https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/programs/ei/ei-list/reports/regular-benefits/duration.html#tbl-ei-02)
what he does not understand is how the calculation works is it like he must divide the total insurable hours by 21 weeks or he must calculate the money he made in 21 weeks this is where he is confused.

any reply is appreciated thank you.
