Even I am an SINP paper based candidate. Got my medicals passed on 26th March, 2018. And no updates till now. Below is my time line..

My Timeline: SINP ( PAPER BASED APPLICATION)

Application Recieved - March 9, 2017.
AOR - April 21, 2017.
Add. Docs Requested - December 15, 2017.
Medical Request - March 2, 2018.
Medical results received - March 26, 2018
File transferred from NDVO to Vancouver CIC office - June 19, 2018.

Awaiting PPR..!!

However, not clear as to what does the file transfermeans, and by when should I expect the PPR.

Anyone with a similar timeline ??

Hi. When did you get the PPR request ? Have received approval email ?

Thank You

So quick question on PPR for inland applicants. Is it normal for them to request PPR? I received a letter and they didn't request I send them my passport. In the letter it states that there is no need to send it if you are applying from inside Canada. The only thing it advised is that a local office would contact me (this hasn't happened yet but I only received the update on Thursday).

Does anyone else have a similar experience? If so how did you proceed?

Well then you can't leave & re-enter Canada; how would you land as Permanent then ?

You no longer have to leave the country in order to transfer over to PR you can do it via the IRCC inland offices. I'm wanting to hear other peoples experiences with it since my letter mesntions I don't have to send my passport away.

June 01, 2019. I used a doctor on the panel that has eMedical, that way they upload the results in approximate 1 week. Otherwise it might take them up to 3 months, because they send the results by courier.

Mine is also carried out by a Doctor who was on the panel that has eMedical. He uploaded on 5th June but till date no update. Hopeful to get update in this week or by early next week.

Once the doctor updates the results on the platform, you should receive the notification in less than a week, officers need to check the information in order to approve it.

Are you Inlanded?
