I asked my university the status of other pakistani students that if they got the visa, they replied that privacy laws doesnt allow us to reveal this information. Hahahahaha its a very funny country. I send a case specific query on 30th august. I havent received a reply yet. How much am i supposed to wait. I send cancellation request for my earlier visa application withdrawal request. How much days more do you think i will have to wait for the reply.

P.S: I heard that people are getting visas even after their intakes have passed on basis of letters for next intake. I'd appreciate your suggestions and input friends.

Thanks for your reply but how is that possible my application is lying with VFS till now? I applied 23 June and the next day VFS send me email and sms that my application has been forwarded to Canada Visa office, Islamabad. Then on 5 August I sent general enquiry on islamabad-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and they replied back that my application is under review and processing also they provided file number. Now my 11 weeks have passed on 15 September and I have sent them case specific enquiry reply of which is still awaited.
But on what basis u can say my application is still with VFS I am totally confused.

Brass, in your assessment, how many people apply from pakistan for canadian student visa. I imagine must be around 1500-1800. Not many people apply in canada.

I think your consultant is making s**t up. They'd ask you to collect your passport, in my opinion. They wouldnt hand your passport over to anyone else. And i dont think your consultant cant expedite the process through his contacts.

Try to bargain with the basturd and and free your passport. Pay him whatever little amount you can spare and vacate your passport. You dont need him anymore, and what he is demanding is unfair, but i think you are not in a position to anything else. Anyway, you are the one who got medical call na? So you have bright chances and he is trying to fleece you a little bit more.

I just checked our database. Dude you havent even got medical call. So, lets wait till that so that we if you get the request to submit your visa. It would make sure that you are getting a visa. Then, you pay him like 5000 and get your passport free from him. Otherwise, god forbids, if your visa is denied, then throw letter of refusal in his face ask the moron for your passport. BTW, Ask the moron what contacts has he got. Share that consultants name so that we all can be ware of him.
