Exactly and that's why I am so frustrated. I Am in my 13 th week already and all I get is a auto reply telling me the same thing that I already know. It's in process and under review.

VFS doesn't have to do anything with your passport. You'll receive an approval email in you myCIC account when your visa will be approved. After that you can ask VFS for your passport. Hace patience till then.

Guys I applied on july 3rd with upfront medical paper based since then hear nothing from CHC , i have orientation on 3rd September which is mandatory to attend otherwise i have differ to next semester ! Is there any chance to get visa before that ?

The gave the same answer to me too, word by word. Its strange to see CIC working like this. In India they are issuing Visas in 8 days! I don't understand what takes them so long here.

Hope i am wrong but passport dispatch email without medical is usually a visa refusal. I hope I am wrong. Keep us posted.

I am paper based applicant, I submitted my passport along with my application but they need Previous passports too. I had to submit two of my passports. I don't see any problem in sending all the passports? Just staple all the passports keeping valid one on top.
Oh that email, yeahh, it states for minors (having no NIC) you should bring FRC. so you don't need to get any FRC. No picture as well as its E-Medic.
Yes that Form which you received IMM1017, you need to carry that to IOM. its a MUST.
VAC is a better option, but any online applicant who sent his passport can guide you better though

Thank you for your message and am extremely sorry for not being able to reply sooner. Congratulations on getting your visa approved, that is great news. I got my polio certificate today and would be getting my pictures by tonight/tomorrow (just getting them for later, in case I need it). I also went for my FRC today but woah it was crazy man. Their system was down at two of their offices so couldn't get it. Would try again day after tomorrow. I will get all the forms and stuff ready. I don't have to fill out anything right?

Online Applicants- Can you please confirm the best and safest method of dispatching my passport and/or whether you sent in all or just the most valid one? I have submitted copies (scanned copies) of all at the time of my application.
