Did she happen to apply paper based or online?
Medical Upfront or waiting for call?
I guess the processing has shifted towards the month of May, she might be getting a call anytime soon.

Sufiyan my case was the same as yours. I opted to go for the medical and told them that I have no medical call. They after performing medical tests gave me a document e- medical and instructed me to send the same to cic along with passport when I get a call. On 7th August I got the passport request along with medical request. The very next day I send both the required docs to Cic via Vac.
I hope u will do the same

Your application was online, Sufyan is paper based. so there is a difference.

Paper based application
Medical done 11-apr 2014 (so it's just over a year ago done so I'm not sure will this be considered upfront or not)
Application filed on 28th apr 2015 and transferred on 29-apr-2015

No response from cic till to date


She got rejected last year (applied 15-Apr 2014 and rejection received 05-June 2014)

Any comments and prayers needed!

There is an expiry date of medical Saima, I think 3 months or 6 months. It wont be considered upfront. She'd have to undergo again

Got my medical done on 9th without medical request. I will send e-medical along with passport once i get a request. Eagerly waiting for request each day now.

I filed in an inquiry since it has been more than 12 weeks. I got a reply that my application is under process and they appreciate my patience.

Medical validity is one year. They will ask her again. When is her program start date?

What if we don't get medical and passport request together, like Qureshi did.
How should we send upfront e-medical then? ( i am referring to cases where people got their medicals done without a medical request).

In case we don't get pp request with the medical, should we dispatch medical ourselves to CHC or would they expect IOM to upload it???

Yeh you guys are right the validly is one year and we submitted the application beyond that validity. We r not sure to go ahead with the medical or not since my sister is 15years and we don't even know if medical will be requested or not.

Anyone else in the same boat? It's been 14 weeks and no response yet!
