Pakistani Applicants who have been asked for Remedicals

Has anyone has been asked to re-do their medical (chest x-ray only) and submit an updated police certificate after their original medical expired? If yes can you kindly share your experience of how long the new medical is valid until and the time taken from the re-medical to PPR1 request. Thank you
