I was received PPR 1 on 8th Nov via e-mail but i check my e-mail on 24th Nov. i send reply 3rd DEc, reached there 10th Dec, i was regularly checking my status till 06 Jan,2013 but no reply.after that my e-mail got some problem & i disconnected fromLVO through e-mail i send inquiry to LVO another ID but still no reply after 07 weeks. dear you got PPR 2 . my questions are below.

1. When anybody get PPR 2, same time this information also pass on to islamabad? or not through LVO.
2.If London visa office issue me PPR 2 but due to some reason i dose not found Can islamabad office can contact me by self directly?.
3. Can i write to islamabad office directly and ask about my PPR 2 status.? in this situation.
4.can LVO issued PPR 2 only via e-mail or also by Courier MAIL? ]

Dear mmkhan2013,
Send an email to Vo with all ur file info and revised email address. I have also seen a couple of applicants getting contacted by ISB CHC (upon delaying submission), for submitting PPs.

I agree with nashe-31, you should sent CSI to LVO, who is your Visa officer ? mine is KKB. I am still waiting for our PPR-2 since 21-Nov-12, CSI sent on 10th jan 13 but auto reply received that they will contact me with in 28 days. so far no email of PPR-2 received. Allah will help us very soon, In sha Allah.

Dear is your email ID locked or you ID is blocked by LVO , if your email ID is just blocked you can recover your ID.

Information for those families who shall be flying soon.

We are family of four and bringing lot of stuff like extra clothings, undergarments, summer shoes, crockery, cutlery, bed linen, towels and kitchen utensils etc, that's why we have excess baggage. As I am coming through Emirates which allows one suitecase of 23kg and one 7kg standard hand carry with ticket, and for an extra 23 kg suitecase I was asked to pay 250 USD from Islamabad to Calgary. I will need almost 3 to 4 suitecases to fill in my extra luggage.
I got a good deal from DHL, they are taking my 100 kg extra luggage from Islamabad to Calgary in 630 USD.
This way I am saving on shipping cost, cost of suitecases, since I need to take all items without packing and those will be put in Carton provided by DHL (and extra suitecases will be of no use after reaching Canada) also cost of bringing them from Airport to home since DHL will deliever at the door step.
I am taking necessary items with me on the Flight and this extra luggage will reach once we are relatively settled in the house.

I think you are making a wise decision transport wise, as it will be difficult to manage the luggage once reach the destination unless you have someone picking you up with a van or a mini truck. also extra suitcases are useless. But in opinion carrying extra stuff is not necessary specially if you have bought them new, as all of these items are available here in all qualities. But nevertheless i carried them too but i cam on PIA which allows two items per ticket at 28kg per piece and 1 extra item at Rs 9000/- per ticket till toronto.
