Today i attended IOM Cultural Orientation Seesion in Lahore, facilitated by a very nice lady Ms. Lubna Khan. It was a wonderful session where i got answers of many queries of mine and met with Senior members of this forum like Sir amh, Markn and cyma.

those who have got their PPR1s and PPR2s must got themselves registered for the upcomming session and attend it, its beneficial indeed.

Hi All.
I received following email from LVO.

This email is in regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order to proceed with your application, the following document is required within 30 days:
1. Updated proof of funds (you may submit via email to ensure you meet the deadline)
Please document funds for the last 4 months (ie: bank transaction history). You must explain and document unusually large transactions
Please be advised, if we do not hear from you within the deadline provided, your application may be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. Please do not contact us unless there are significant issues which need to be brought to our attention.
We look forward to hearing from you within 30 days.

After getting 6 to 12 months wait letter in the May 2012, i had withdrawn my funds from bank which was fixed as term deposit certificate and invested that amount in property. I have managed funds and deposited in bank as term deposit certificate but it is done after receving email from LVO. A certificate from bank regarding TDR will be sufficient or i have to manage some kind of sale deed of property selling.Forum members are requested to please advise.

A TDR in ur favour is sufficient enough proof of funds. u dont need to show any property documents until they ask for the further proof. can u please share that at what stage is ur application at the moment. have u submitted ur Medical report or waiting for MR.

I just want to share how to get NOC from traffic police Islamabad. I went there today and first I went to record office , they asked me to write an application stating that I need an NOC and the purpose. After that I went to SSP office and after signing he asked me to go to diary room. There he stamped my application form and sent me back to original record office and from there they gave me a report stating the issue date of my license, expiry date, my name, date of birth etc. Lastly I took it back to SSP office, he typed and asked me to come back tomorrow to get the NOC because officer was not there to sign today.

Hope it helps. With this NOC we will not need to verify our license from Pakistan embassy in Canada. Thanks
