It seems that majority of applicants receiving PPRs are from MI3 not many from MI2 and certainly not MI1. I wonder there are so many applicants on this forum, there must be someone who has inside news on progress on issuance of PPRs and also some of them have resourceful consultants whose specialty is to keep a tab on updates and information. Any comments ?

my case was refused back in March 2012

did reconsideration against the decision and got approval on 13 June and they admitted their mistake

today my Ecas status again changed to "In process" from DM

Let me share a real life story, a very close relative of mine had applied for spousal visa to CHC Isd in 2006, spouse was already in Canada on immigration. After endless wait of 2 yrs the medical was received and then it expired without any progress. After some high level intervention to CHC it was found out that the file was simply lying under some other documents there was no other reason for delay. Then it was promised by the high commissioner that this will be processed on priority but certainly no guarantee of visa since that will only issued on merit. Then the file took off like a turbo jet it was processed in 6 weeks after new Medical since the case already had everything there and only just needed to be reviewed.

2nd AOR - Mar 2010
Processing start - Jan 2012
Med Req - Feb 2012
Med Done - Mar 2012 with updated documents of my new born and landing fees

Since then no updation.. when should I expect my new born's med?

Dear friends
Need your prayers that I get PPR2 this week as my medical will expire in August and I must get visa stamped before this time. I am now worried because still I haven't received PPR2 and now a month has crossed.
