Dear All, By the grace of Allah we reached Edmonton on 30 Dec 2012. via Montreal. the journey was although very long almost 32 hours with stop overs but we enjoyed. now in Edmonton North areas very good people here, trying to get some jobs till next week as many documentation and registrations are required to be done yet.

In PR card application form... Should we have to fill separate PR forms for PA and all accompanying family members?

14. Your Telephone Numbers. Should we have to write Canadian relative phone number or leave it blank or N/A.
C. Personal History
19. Address History: Should we have to write addresses of our Pakistan residence or leave it blank or N/A?
20. Work and Educational History: Should we have to write work/educational history of Pakistan or leave it blank or N/A?
21. Travel History: What about travel history leave it blank or N/A?
D. Residency Obligations: I think N/A (all options).
F. Solemn Declaration concerning lost, stolen and never received pr card: I think N/A.

Should we require Supplementary Identification Form to fill too?

The procedure at Canadian airport is very simple. First you will have to meet the Immigration officer who will complete your landing form and process your request for PR card. Time duration depends how many immigrants are accompanying you in the flight as then will have to wait in que to meet immigration officer. In second stage, you will be meeting customs officials. If you have a "good to follow" list, then they will check the list and may seek few clarifications. In my case, I had quoted quite high for some of the articles. So the officer just clarified that all items in the "goods to follow" must be used and i cannot bring any newly purchased item later.
With routine procedures, the overall process should be completed in an hour.

Can you please let us know how did you receive PPR-2, through email or post or it was just a telephone call? If it was a telephone call then did they mention the exact address for the dispatch of original Passport.

No. Attestation is not required as its an original document. I presented the original NOC with out any attestation and it was accepted. So no need.

Received PPR1 at LVO : 12.11.2012
Case Specific Enquiry e-mail sent to LVO on : 28.11.2012
Reminder of CSI sent to LVO on 27.12.2012
PPR2 Received on (Through E-mail) 31.12.2012
Sent Passports to CHC Islamabad on : 01.01.2013
Medical will expire on 30.01.2013

I had recieved PPR1 on the 19th of Nov and sent an email to LVO on Thursday that it has been almost 38 days but haven't recd. PPR2 and in response I recd. PPR2 at 2:38 pm TODAY.

i ave received ppr1 on 16th, 7 weeks r already passed,
i made cse, n in reply yesterday, vo said . Due to the high volume of files currently in process, there is a slight delay in finalizing some files.however v will contact u as soon as yur file is finalized.

my e-cas status shows, decision made since 2 months. its very confusing 2 me.
dont know wht 2 do

It is clear from the VISA office reply that they have now created another backlog for PPR-1 and 2 applicants so we have to wait little longer for receipt of PPR-1 as I have not seen any one who have done their medical in NOV-12 to receive PPR-1 request
