Got my PPR1, when should I quit my job?

Congratulations. Do not quit job right now, do other formalities like international driving license, disposing off property and planning what all goods you are going to carry. Necessary research where to find accomodation and money that you are taking with you.
There is no doubt that you should resign after getting Visa in your hand. When is your Meds expiring? that will determine when can you fly to Canada and actually that also determines when can you resign. And also your personal choice will help deciding when to resign.

No No.... just hang in there till you get stamped passport or at least PPR2. Whats bad in getting couple of months salary convert it into CAD and think about it
