I am from Pakistan. My fiance and I are interested in applying for express entry together as both of our combined CRS as husband /wife (me being the Primary applicant) is high and we don't want to take the sponsorship route.
Our families are thinking of having our nikkah done in June so we can apply together and then when the process is completed within 6 to 8 months, we can have our ruksati and move to Canada together.
It is more practical for us as opposed to making living arrangements as we are both working in Karachi. He is from Lahore.
I have known him for a year as well.
My question is that a NADRA marriage certificate would be sufficient?
Do we need any other supporting documents (pictures of the ceremony) etc as it is not a sponsorship case.
Please anyone with similar experience help!
