Aslam o Alikum

I have got admission offer from University of British Columbia for MEng Program of one year, for that I have to submit my program start date either September 2014 or January 2015.

Considering the Visa processing time in Pakistan should I opt for January 2015, since I don't want to miss my orientation there.

Also, how to go for upfront medical? Can any one guide me?

Since the one year expense calculator of UBC indicate that its about 35k CAD per year, for couple, means showing bank statement of 40k CAD b beneficial?

And one last thing, getting spouse visa along with your study permit easy or it will ruin my chance to attend UBC? ;D

Thanks

Looking forward to replys.

Yes i Came here on 5 may

Its kind of absurd , students who applied in April got their medical calls , whereas the ones who applied in March are still stuck except one or two...

well i have admission from concordia and UNB both and i am confused, UNB clearly has an edge when it comes to tuition fee. do you think immigration in quebec is more difficult as compared to UNB skill workers program (http://www.welcomenb.ca/content/wel-bien/en/immigrating_and_settling/how_to_immigrate/new_brunswick_provincialnomineeprogram.html)

since you are there in NB what do you suggest ? Quebec or NB keeping in view immigration, job opportunities etc
Thanks
