Hi seniors,

Please guide me for payment for a new born baby, file is already submitted to VO LDN. Please let me know the name on which we need to make a draft and amount of draft.

Thanks and regards
Congratulations! for the new born
You can make draft from any exchange company e.g Dollar East. The fee of baby is 150 CAD$. The draft would be in the name of Receiver General For Canada.

At the time of birth immediately inform CIC.
They normally take 15 to 20 days to respond back. [Max 28 days]
Meantime apply for following docs:-
1- Apply for birth certificate at concerned Union council [Nadra].
2- After receiving BC go for CRC [Child reg. certificate].
3- After CRC apply for passport [Better to go for urgent passport in 7 days].
4- 4 CIC specified pics
5- Demand Draft of 150$ fee.
6- Amended forms.
7- Cover letter with full docs
8- Copy of passport
9- Notarized Copy of child Birth certificate
10-Notarized Copy of CRC.

Thanks buddy,

Well this is not mine case. This is one of my frnd'z who have a baby few days back and making documents to submit. lolzz

Anyways thanks from my frnd.

Hello friends,

this is my first post n I am glad to know that we are all here to support each other.

Welll, they said it would take a year n here I am. We have been waiting everyday since we submitted our original docs in September of 2009.

Our status has been showing in In Process since 25 Feb 2011.

In August 2011 we received a letter from CHC London asking us to verify our Masters Degrees and to prove whether our university (Preston and PIMSAT) are recognized by the HEC. I was easily able to prove that by sending the HEC website prints n related documents. On Oct 20th it will be three months since we sent these docs....we've heard nothing since.

I know its a bit heartbreaking but if we (who applied in 2009) are still waiting then I am afraid that those who applied in 2010 and 2011 still have a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg wait ahead of them.

May God help us all

Minutes of Standing Committee on CIC dated Sep 29, 2011.

There is no chance of increase in immigration levels for next budget it seems.

hi seniors

I want to apply for CAIPS Notes, but before that i need some information after having a look at my file, as my uncle(father's brother who is in Canada as Canadian citizen) is my representative and for that i have submitted representative form alongwith my application.

Now please tell me what documents and forms do i need to fill and submit for CAIPS Notes ? If my uncle want to pay fee $5 through a card (online) then does he need to fill any fee payment form ?

Thanks and regards

Yes you are right..... i also applied in 2009 and there is no update from VO with regard to my application, but the same caption "IN PROCESS". On the other hand ppl who have applied after June 2010 are getting their MR. Even one of my friend applied in 2011 and one and a half month back he sent his MR details back to VO.
So stay put and hope for the best.

Regards,
Ali.

Yes it seems so. On the other hand i am unable to figure out that if they are upto something with regard to backlog? Have any clue?

I have been closely monitoring CIC's visa/MR issuance practices. They are fast processing the MI-2 and MI-3 applications. as there are 20,000 applications for MI-2, it could take until March 2012 to finalize all of them and then there will be MI-3 applications which should not take more than December 2012. if they follow this way which seems quite practical now, they will start working on the MI-1 applicants.
