It would be great news that the background checks for most applicants (2007) are being done before the MEDs are requested
Could you kindly tell me if this is the case with the 2007 applicants as well, if so, how did you come to know about it
as I am also waiting since 2007 and still i havent got my MR yet

dear fellas, do you think of it any worth to write to CHC about the case update while you are a pre june '10 applicant and ur status is showing "in process" with "RBVO" details inside since 5 months. your opinions please! may I? i am lil depressed !

I think it's not worth because you will get the same stereotype reply. For status "In-Process" with RBVO details is a system glitch. Actual processing/background check will start When processing date would be mentioned inside e-cas.

after submiting my up dated documents in feb 2011 i wrote CHC london an E-Mail in the reply of that mail they wrote me that now we are in process of review of your file and we are also conducting BGSchk on your file at the completion of review we will send you medical forms.

it means that every body who submitted their updated documents and after that wait more than 4 month for MR there are great chances that they have completed BGSchk. all are assumptions no body can confirm till the issuance of visa.

Actually I got the same reply from the VO, that background checks are on,
even though in my caipsnotes, my SELDEC is 04 and interview has been waived
also there is a note from the VO that request MEDS and RPRF

Just to be clearer, the background checks here would actually mean that they are
conducting criminal checks not documentation checks? - as the selection decision been
already posted
