Dear Friend,

Me and My spouse have taken appointment for medical examination From IOM Karachi. I inquired today from them that where they send the medical reports they said India New Delhi and from their they will forward to London VO but in medical instructions letter it is clearly written the address of London Visa Office. Pls friends confirm me is it correct to do medical from IOM Karachi. I am a MPNP applicant with my spouse, Provincial Nominee in Economic Class. When it will reach to London VO. They said they will provide Tracking Number but if they send to India it can only be tracked till India and not London VO. How much time it takes for the medical reports to reach London VO. And do the New Delhi office updates the Ecas that medical results are received.

And also let me know hows the experience in IOM Karachi.

Need your valuable suggestions.

Thanks.
do not worry, indian Visa office do not send the original reports, they send scanned copies to them. so no need of tracking, as indian visa office is also our regional medical center

Hello,

Please tell me about my situation? We ars SINP candidate
We have been submitted medicals and landing fees now CIC third time asked for Background Declaration forms we have time till end of the October we will send them in full correction again
Please tell me these forms which CIC is asking these are for background Checks ? if they are for background cheaks then what will they do for background ? either contact with document issuing authorities ?
we have also submitted police clearance certificates to Nova Scotia have they been cheeked

thanks
Read carefully background forms, there must be some gaps in history thats why they are asking again & again. And yes they check the background history with the help of these forms but not from document authorties, it is from agencies,

Thank You Nashe_31 !!!!

Am doing fine Mashallah....

Advice.....hmmmmm.....

1. Just be mentally prepared for a big change....and the cold temperature :D
2. Make sure u bring enuff funds....can't stress that enuff....one can easily get stressed out cos of not having a job and to incur all the monthly expenses.....u have to accept the fact that Canada is an expensive place and u have loads of monthly fixed expenses...
3. Don't fall for people guiding u to work as a security guard or at a mall...just cos they did it when they came....that is one of the biggest misconceptions ever !!!!!!!
4. If u r not fluent in spoken english....get some course done before u come here.....don't waste time here....YOU NEED TO SPEAK ENGLISH....
5. Be confident.....almost everyone here is an immigrant....even those "goras" who have been living here for years are immigrants.....they have all been through the same process...

For the rest....well....maybe can guide u guys for some specific question/scenario comes up..

Anyways ...

Best of Luck my friends....keep in touch !!!

Good News: The validity of Pakistani Passport is now Ten (10) years. WoW

thats good, my passport will expire in 2016, so it'll be automatical consider 5 years more or what,,,,

I have done my Medical yesterday from IOM LHR

Staff was very nice and we have done everything in 90 minutes

they offer us 3 different options regarding my wife pregnancy

1. we can do X-rays with protective shield now
2. we can do all the tests apart from X-ray which can done after delivery or
3. last month of pregnancy (which is totally safe as they told us).

we have chosen 2nd option

they gave us a letter that i have to send CHC London and they kept photo copy of that letter and they will send that photo copy to India but they will not send my wife's other test reports (blood and urine) to CHC, they will keep those reports and will send altogether later with X-rays.

I am also facing the same difficulty that IOM, Khi send the MR report to New Delhi.

How did you confirm that your MR was by LVO.
send them CSE or email and they will confirm you, they confirmed me when i sent them CSE.
If your MR on their table , they will reply you like this. "in response to your email, please note that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks. Whilst we appreciate that your medical examination results are due to expire on 00/00/0000, we are currently unable to advise when the checks will be completed"
If not, then they will reply you like this, "we are waiting for your Medical Report from Concerned Doctor or IOM and blah blah blah
Take a chance and send them CSE

Dear Fellows;

Can any one tell me whether canadian immigration requires a person, after having the immigrant visa, to travel to canada directly from the home country/residence. I mean if we travel first to USA (on visit visa) and then enter into canada by road/air, would that be objectionable to them?

Those who have travelled/received immigrant visa or in the final phases might be in a better position to comment on this.

Regards,
