Dear all,

I had worked as an part-time paid intern for my company for about 1.5yr (16hrs a week with around 30% salary of full-time position) while doing my master degree, and was offered a full-time position (40hr a week) under the same NOC upon graduation. I am still working at this company and has been a full-time employee for about 2.5yr. If the internship counts, my CRS score would rise by 25 points.

Will the internship count as my work experience? Thanks. My boss can write me a recommendation letter for the internship and I have my bank statement for the salary during the period.

Is it in Canada or outside ?
And 16 hrs per week for 1.5 years won't account for 1 year full time.
So this particular case won't help you.

It's in China. Does each job need to last longer than 1yr to qualify? Thanks.

Yes, paid internships during studies count if they are outside of Canada.

Cheers :)
