P1 while outside Canada

I got my P1 email on June 5th but I’m travelling outside the country until 14th. In the email says I have to respond within 7 business days so technically I’ll be back before the 7 business day limit is over.
Should I reply them now and tell them my return date or wait until I’m back to Canada on 14th and just declare that I’m in Canada?
I don’t want to cause unnecessary delay

Reply when you reenter Canada. If you have any other travel in the next couple of months you should inform IRCC at that time since you should be in Canada to receive virtual landing.
