I already received my final decision for my application inside Canada. I have dependant outside Canada.

How to calculate the processing time for our dependant outside Canada. Is it day we filed our application and submitted to IRCC inside Canada or the day we passed eligibility and our dependants file was transferred to VO outside Canada ?

I filled my application on November 2023 with my dependant outside Canada, I received my final decision this week. On February 2025 the CPC-Mississauga transferred my dependant’s file to VO outside Canada. When is the processing starts ? The time we filed our application or the day it was transferred to VO ?

We have no news from February 2025 (other than requested updated forms) no medical no pre-arrival yet for my dependant.

Most depends abroad get final decision after primary gets ecopr between 6 to 12 months

Given the 1 time policy the time for dependents to get PR is likely to increase quite a bit because a large volume of dependents will enter processing at the same time but the quota hasn’t increased for dependents.
