Outland spousal sponsorship COPR updated but contact address still different

Hi,

TL;DR They updated wife's contact address in tracker to mine when I changed my address. COPR number got populated recently. Correction Web form sent, with no update for 2 months now. Is this a problem?

I'm trying to see if anyone has any advise on a very specific issue.
Our PR sponsorship application just passed the background check and I can see the COPR number in the status tracker.
I changed my address a few months back and I updated IRCC on the same through a phone call and a web form for the representative address. Unfortunately they updated my wife's contact address in the tracker to my address too. I reached out to them about it through calls and a web form showing the discrepancy with a screen shot. They can't update it when I call because the application is at the New Delhi visa office. It's been 2 months since I sent it. This is making us very anxious.
Now that the COPR is confirmed I'm worried about how it will effect the rest of the application process. The COPR number and details are updated in the status tracker. I did not get any email for it. I assume I can be sure that she's approved already.

Another one of my worries is that my wife's medicals are expiring soon. Considering it will take a while for us to get the passport request and then there's the time for stamping. I'm worried we might be cutting it close. Should I think about doing another medical?

This is the timeline on our application.
Outland application. India. VO: New Delhi
Aor: July 24th 2024
Biometrics: August 21st 2024
Medical: August 27th 2024 (completed sept 17th)
Eligibility completed: May 9th 2025
Pre-arrival email: May 9th 2025
Background check completed: May 13th 2025
Copr details in document status is filled now.

We got the PPR on 22nd May, and we sent it. It's in processing at IRCC atm.

So they didn’t change your wife’s address back to Indian address and you received ppr without any issues? Right?

Yes. We did put in a webform pointing out the mistake with a screen shot etc, but they never changed it.
The address was wrong on the tracker page. We didn't make any mistakes in the actual application.
Also stamping is still in progress. I will update once it's done.

The reason I am asking is because I am the sponsor and I recently moved to a new address within the same city, and seeing that there is no direct option in webform to change/update sponsor’s address and even if you do ircc often updates applicant’s address. What would you suggest though?

Just pick some other option ( as general as possible) and write the text in.

Got it and thank you for your help! could you kindly tell how necessary is it? Any drawbacks if sponsor’s address is not updated in time or anything?

Give IRCC a call. Try enough times and you'll get through.
When I called they asked me to upload the IMM form for sponsor to change sponsor address. Which I did, and they messed it up and updated my wife's address.

I had called Ircc earlier regarding something else and they couldn’t give me any information cause my spouse’s sponsorship application is being processed outside Canada, so I doubt if I call they’d help me update the address.

Yeah. They can't update it if it's outside. I was suggesting calling them to check how to update sponsor address. That's when the agent asked me to fill the sponsorship IMM form and submit it again through the web form.
Search the forum too. I'm sure there are others in the same situation.

You posted several times asking how to do it and now you're asking whether it's necessary? Make up your mind. If it was enough to make you ask the question that many times just do it . You could have just finished it by now.

You posted several times asking how to do it and now you're asking whether it's necessary? Make up your mind. If it was enough to make you ask the question that many times just do it . You could have just finished it by now.
